PRESBYOND
Laser Blended Vision is an advanced laser vision correction technique developed by Carl Zeiss to treat presbyopia (age-related loss of near vision). It is designed for people over 40 who struggle with reading without glasses but still want to maintain clear distance vision.
How it Works:
Customized LASIK-based treatment that reshapes the cornea using a femtosecond and excimer laser.
Creates a “blended vision” effect by slightly adjusting the focus of each eye:
Dominant eye: optimized for distance vision. Non-dominant eye: optimized for near vision.
Unlike traditional monovision (where one eye is near and the other is distance), PRESBYOND increases the depth of field, giving a smooth visual transition without the big gap between eyes.
